Menu dishes


Make sure you have already created 1) the card and 2) its categories / sub-categories. (See previous tutorials if needed).

1. Open the dish manager

  1. Log in as Owner, go to Admin ▸ Establishments.
  2. Click Manage next to the establishment.
  3. From the side menu choose Cards ▸ Dishes.
  4. Select the card  →  categories / sub-categories are listed.

2. Add a new dish

  1. Inside the right category, click .
  2. Fill in the modal form:
    • Dish name (required) and optional Description.
    • *Translation: leave EN fields blank to auto-translate via AI.
    • Prices – fields depend on category levels:
      • Leave unused price levels empty.
      • Decimal format: “8.50” or “8,50”.
      • Free – toggle Free to hide the price.
      • On request – toggle Ask for price when market-based.
    • Allergens – pick all that apply (multi-select).
    • Photo (optional) – JPG/PNG/WebP, max 1 MB, auto-resized to 800 px.
  3. Click Save dish. It appears at the end of the category.

3. Further management

  • Edit to update, then Save dish.
  • Delete with confirmation prompt.
  • Re-order – drag up/down; order saves automatically.

4. Tips

  • Add allergens and a short description for clarity and legal compliance.
  • Use the Ask for price option for fluctuating-price items (e.g. fresh seafood).
  • Publish the card only after reviewing translations and prices.
